                    (1) Poisonous Snakes 

Indian Cobra

The Indian cobra (Naja naja) also known as the Asian Cobra,  is a species of the genus naja naja found in IndiaPakistanBangladeshSri LankaNepal, and Bhutan, and a member of the "big four" species that inflict the most snakebites on humans in India. is distinct from the king cobra which belongs to the monotypic genus Ophiophagus. The Indian cobra is revered in Indian mythologyand culture, and is often seen with snake charmers. It is now protected in India under the Indian Wildlife Protection Act (1972).

Russell's Viper

The Russell's Viper is one of the most dangerous snake in all of Asia , accounting for thousands of deaths each year. Once bitten, people experience a wide variety of symptoms including pain, swelling, vomiting,dizziness,blood incoagubility and kidny failure.

                 (2) Non poisonous Snakes

Banded racer

 Banded racer is a small sized  Snake that lives in between bushes, tall grass and foliage. Another colubrid species , this snake is small sized as compared to the other non-venomous snakes.

Python

 The  Pythonidae, commonly known simply as python, from the Greek word Python, are of nonvenomous snakes is found in Asia, Afrika and Australia. Among its members are some of the largest snakes in the World.

Indian Rat Snake or Dhaman Snake

Indian Rat Snake also termed as "Oriental rat snake" belongs to the colubrid Snake species. Dhaman snakes are one of the longest and fast-moving snakes found in India. Dhaman snake is Non-poisonous.

Common Sand boa

Belonging to Boa species, Sand boa is referred to as "do-muha" snake in Hindi due to the                          resemblance of its tail to its head.                                

Buff striped keelback

The Buff striped keelback is a species of nonvenomous colubrid snake found across Asia. It is quite a common snake but is rarely seen.

                           (3) Water Snakes

Keelback Snake

 Keelback snakes look like deadly Eastern  browns but eat cane toads and are harmless. They may look like  the highly dangerous Eastern brown snake, but the only venom these snakes deliver is an odour which"smells a bit like a fart."

Northern water snake

The northern water snake is a species of large , nonvenomous, common snake in the family Colubridae.
