Indian Birds
(1) Largest and heaviest flying birds of indian subcontinent
Peacock
The National Bird of India of largest sized of Bird native to Indian Sub-Continent but also introduced in many other parts of the world. Mele Peacocks are among the largest and heaviest representative of the Phasianidae and brightly coloured bird.
Great Indian bustard
The great Indian bustard is a very large bird and ranked among one of the heaviest of the flying bird in the World . Indian bustard is critically endangered by hunting and loss of its habitat, common on the dry plains of the Indian tusubcontinent.
Sarus Crane
The Sarus Crane is a large non-migratory Crane found in parts of Indian subcontinent and tallest of the flying birds of India.

Hummingbird
The bee hummingbird is the smallest living bird.They are known as hummingbirds because of the humming sound created by their beating wings which flap at high frequencies audible to humans. They hover in mid-air at rapid wing-flapping rates, which vary from around 12 beats per second in the largest species, to in excess of 80 in some of the smallest.

Crane

Heron
The herons are long-legged freshwater and coastal birds in the family Ardeidae with 60 recognised species , some of the which are referred to as egrets or bitterns rather than herons .

The Indian roller is a member of the roller bird family. It occurs widely from West Asia to the Indian Subcontinent and Sri Lanka.
Sparrow
Sparrow are a family of small passerine birds . They are also known as true sparrows, and Old World sparrows, names also used for a particular genus of the family, passer.
